Varaslätten’s natural meeting place

Every Friday and Saturday throughout the year, Kvarterskrogen is open between 17.00 and 01.00, with the kitchen open from 17.00 to 21.30. We are following the current restrictions announced by the Public Health Agency of Sweden. We prefer advance table bookings, but walk-ins are also welcome. Our à la carte menu focuses on classic Swedish restaurant dishes with selected quality ingredients from the local area. We collaborate with Svenska Gårdar and our local area is home to producers such as Sivans ost (cheese), Gelateria Tiziana (ice cream), Qvänum Mat & Malt (brewery), Ulfstorps Gårdsägg (eggs), Adelsåsens kalkon (turkey), Skövde slakteri (meat), Stommen Long in Vara (meat), Jordarv (farm produce), Bondens Skafferi Väst in Alingsås (fresh produce), Svartemadens Potatis (potatoes), cheese from Filliostus in Skara and sourdough bread from Nybakat i Vara.

Superb ingredients combined with knowledgeable and service-minded staff mean that we are confident in promising you an enjoyable visit to Kvarterskrogen.

Our shuffleboard is open from 17.00 and costs SEK 200 per hour per table

Fun activities with friends?

Challenge your friends to sumo wrestling, “Champion of Champions” or something else tricky. Our instructors will keep score. Bookings are for 6-50 people and take around 2 hours. SEK 200 per person.
